Agent OS Setup

Hands-on AI agent consulting for people who want working systems, not demos.

Most people do not need another ChatGPT prompt pack.

They need the plumbing that makes AI useful every day:

  • agents that can use tools

  • notes and memory that persist

  • GitHub and local files wired correctly

  • model routing that does not burn money

  • repeatable workflows

  • mobile access

  • clear guardrails around secrets, publishing, and approvals

I help individuals and small teams set up practical AI agent systems around their real work.

This is the kind of system I use every day for AFE Leaks: research loops, data workflows, filing analysis, code, publishing drafts, alerts, and internal agents.

What I can help you set up

Depending on your workflow, we can cover:

  • Hermes Agent or a similar local agent runtime

  • Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor workflows

  • GitHub repo setup for agent-assisted work

  • Obsidian vault structure for research and long-term memory

  • Telegram or mobile access to your agent

  • scheduled routines and recurring research loops

  • model/provider routing for cost and quality

  • local vs. cloud model tradeoffs

  • safe rules around secrets, files, publishing, and approvals

  • workflows tailored to your actual job

The goal is not a demo.

The goal is a working setup you can keep using after the call.

Who this is for

This is a fit for:

  • investors

  • researchers

  • consultants

  • operators

  • founders

  • engineers

  • small teams

  • anyone who wants AI agents connected to their actual files, notes, code, and workflows

It is especially useful if you already know AI is valuable but feel stuck in scattered tools: ChatGPT tabs, random prompts, half-used note systems, and no repeatable process.

Who this is not for

This is probably not a fit if you just want:

  • a basic ChatGPT tutorial

  • a list of prompts

  • generic AI strategy

  • someone to tell your company that AI is important

This is hands-on setup and workflow design.

Typical engagements

Quickstart Setup

2 hours remote.

Best for getting the core stack installed and one or two workflows running.

We can cover your agent runtime, notes, repo structure, model/provider setup, and first workflows.

Operator Buildout

Half-day remote.

Best if you want a fuller personal operating system: agents, Obsidian, GitHub, mobile access, scheduled routines, and guardrails.

You leave with a working setup and a short operating checklist.

Houston / In-Person Setup

For individuals or small teams who want hands-on setup, training, and workflow design in person.

Good for investors, small funds, family offices, consultants, and technical teams trying to move beyond AI demos.

Pricing

Remote setup starts at $250/hr, with a 2-hour minimum.

Half-day buildouts and Houston in-person sessions are quoted separately.

Email me at bd@afeleaks.com with a short note on what you are trying to build, what tools you already use, and whether you want remote or Houston/in-person help.

If it is a fit, I will reply with the cleanest setup path and a few times that work.
